Jack is originally from Ayr, Scotland. After half a dozen years of international travel and work he finally settled down to successfully pursue a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. During his last year there he found acting and immediately fell head over heels in love with it. He is very proud to have gone on to attain a Master of Fine Arts in performance from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Jack has summited mountains around the world, fought in the octagon, worked ski seasons in the Alps, ridden a motorcycle across the United States and run Tough Mudders. During his free time he still loves to practice Muay Thai, hike, rock climb, snowboard, play disc golf and find any other excuse to be outside. He holds strongly to the words of fellow Scotsman John Muir - "Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean."
In 2023 Jack wrote, produced, directed, and acted in his first short film O&0 which was accepted into multiple film festivals and received nominations for best drama short and best director, along with winning him a Best Performance in a Short award from Cordillera International Film Festival.
His next film Circadian Discord will be completed in 2025…
